Anticoagulation Clinic

If you are taking Warfarin, a blood-thinning medication that can help prevent blood clots or strokes, it’s very important that we help you find the right dosage and that you get regular checkups to make sure it’s working properly. That’s why the Hilton Head Regional Healthcare Anticoagulation Clinic is dedicated to monitoring and managing patients who take Warfarin.

The Anticoagulation Clinic is located in the main lobby of our Hilton Head Hospital locations and staffed by a pharmacist who works with your doctor to read your blood tests and adjust your medication dosages as needed.

To get treatment at the Anticoagulation Clinic, you need a referral from your doctor, and you need to visit us for regular checkups at least once a month. The clinic’s hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

To learn more about the Anticoagulation Clinic or to make an appointment, call (843) 682-7360.

We also offer an Anticoagulation Clinic at the Bluffton Medical Campus on Monday and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. The telephone number is (843) 836-1660.
