Hardeeville, SC – January 13, 2016-Ronald J. Groteluschen, a certified public accountant (CPA), has joined Coastal Carolina Hospital as its new chief financial officer (CFO). As the CFO, Groteluschen will oversee all financial operations for the hospital. In addition, he will oversee several hospital departments including finance, business, health information management, patient access and materials management.
Groteluschen has 25 years of experience in healthcare accounting and financial management. Most recently, he was the CFO for Central Carolina Hospital, a 135-bed facility in Sanford, N.C. He has also held several financial management positions, including that as assistant chief financial officer, at Frye Regional Medical Center, a 355-bed hospital in Hickory, N.C.
Groteluschen has an associate’s degree from St. John’s College in Winfield, Kansas; and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, Neb. As a CPA, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting honor society.
