Hilton Head Regional Healthcare CCH Physicians Give Back Thousands
Jan 4, 2019Hardeeville, S.C. – Hilton Head Regional Healthcare’s Coastal Carolina Hospital is pleased to announce its Medical Staff has donated nearly $15,000 to local non-profit organizations in 2018! The Coastal Carolina Hospital Medical Staff is made up of more than 240 physicians dedicated to serving the citizens of Hardeeville and surrounding communities.
On December 20, 2018, St. Stephen United Methodist Church in Ridgeland, S.C. received $2,000 from the Medical Staff just in time to help stock its food bank during the holidays. Bluffton Self Help also received $2,000 to help further their efforts in our community. The United Way of the Lowcountry received $4,000 to distribute between the Boys and Girls Club and Hopeful Horizons.
“Our Medical Staff takes great pride in helping others both inside and outside of the hospital,” said Joel Taylor, Coastal Carolina Hospital CEO. “Since January 2009, the Medical Staff has donated $70,850 to local non-profits organizations. Our physicians set a great example for us all and this effort is a wonderful reminder about the importance of consistently giving back.”
