Hilton Head Hospital Welcomes New Food and Nutrition Services Director
Jul 6, 2018Hilton Head Hospital is pleased to welcome Michael Jones as the Food and Nutrition Services Director.
In this role, Michael is responsible for the daily operational activities of the hospital’s cafeteria and the overall management of the department’s quality improvement, fiscal, productivity and patient satisfaction goals. He will also be responsible for providing high-quality service to patients and their representatives, physicians and employees. James will oversee a staff of 20.
“Michael is a very talented chef,” said Jeremy Clark, Hilton Head Hospital CEO. “He brings a significant amount of experience and creativity to the meals he prepares. We all believe our patients, staff and visitors will enjoy each bite.”
Michael earned his culinary arts degree from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Before joining the team at Hilton Head Hospital, he served as the Director of Dining Services at a healthcare facility in California and Executive Chef at a hospital in Mississippi.
