Hilton Head Hospital Receives Highest Grade in Patient Safety

Wednesday, April 29, 2015 –Hilton Head Hospital is pleased to receive an “A” rating in The Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2015 Safety Score, demonstrating the hospital’s commitment to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.Hilton Head Hospital has received a higher Hospital Safety ScoreSM letter grade than the letter grades received in the Spring 2015 update by other hospitals in our community.

The Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Score is a rating system designed to give consumers information they can use to make healthcare decisions for themselves or a loved one.

“This recognition is a result of our more than 500 colleagues continually raising the bar on the quality of care we deliver to the residents of Beaufort County,” said Jeremy L. Clark, market chief executive officer of Hilton Head Hospital. “Our colleagues and physicians know that every patient should be treated as if they were a part of their own family, and our “A” rating reflects this commitment.”
