Coastal Carolina Hospital Nurse Danielle Adams Earns Nursing Award

Hardeeville, S.C. – Coastal Carolina Hospital is proud to announce its most recent Daisy RN Award for Extraordinary Nurses Recipient, Danielle Adams!

Adams began her nursing career at Coastal Carolina Hospital in June 2018. She currently works in the Medical-Surgical Unit.

cch-danielle-adamsAdams was nominated for the award by multiple colleagues. One colleague wrote “I have personally watched her kind, gentle manner of providing care and support that makes her patient feel safe and important. She continuously goes above and beyond for her patients and their families.”

The Daisy Award was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, a cancer patient who lost his battle after a brief period of time. The family was so impressed with the care and compassion the staff showed Patrick, they stated a foundation to have a way to honor nurses who demonstrate clinical excellence in a caring and compassionate manor.
