Coastal Carolina Hospital is pleased to welcome Christina Brzezinski as its new Chief Nursing Officer.

In this role, Brzezinski will provide strategic leadership as the senior executive position responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions and services within Coastal Carolina Hospital.  These responsibilities include assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice throughout the hospital. Brzezinski will be responsible for ensuring high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care.

 “We want to be able to provide care to our community so they do not have to travel to have their healthcare needs met,” shared Christina Brzezinski. “With my years of Nursing Director experience, Chief Nursing Officer was the natural next step. I pursued the role so I could have even more impact on the quality of nursing care and patient experience provided.  I plan to support the medical and nursing staff, all while making continued improvements to patient experience. I want the community to know that when they walk into Coastal Carolina Hospital, they will receive high quality care and to expect a great experience.”

Brzezinski previously served as the Director of Complex Care at Hilton Head Hospital which included oversight of the Intensive Care Unit, the Progressive Care Unit, the Cardiac Cath Lab, Dialysis and Wound Care. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Ohio before completing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toledo.
