Coastal Carolina Hospital Launches Chaplaincy Program

Hardeeville, S.C. – March 4, 2020 – Hilton Head Regional Healthcare (HHRH) is pleased to announce its partnership with Island Chaplain & Friends to offer spiritual support to patients and their families.

“As we work every day to provide high quality, compassionate care, we will now be better able to meet the spiritual needs of our patients,” explained Joel Clark, CEO of Coastal Carolina Hospital and COO of Hilton Head Regional Healthcare. “Island Chaplain & Friends has served Hilton Head Hospital for many years and have proven to be an exceptional partner in helping care for our patients. I’m excited that they will begin to work more closely with Coastal Carolina Hospital as we grow and expand.”

“Island Chaplain & Friends is pleased to be a part of the complete wellness program here at Coastal Carolina Hospital,” said Glenn Neff, President of Island Chaplain & Friends. “We offer 24/7 on-call requests to address special needs and emergency situations. Rev. Ian Lamont will be on campus at Coastal Carolina Hospital every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to connect with patients.”
