Smokefree Campus

In an effort to provide healthy environments for its patients, guests, physicians and employees, Hilton Head Hospital and the Bluffton-Okatie Outpatient Center are smoke-free campuses.

“Smoking is dangerous and the health risks of cigarette smoking and harm caused by secondhand smoke are well documented,” said Elaine Hastings, chief nursing officer. “It is only appropriate that in our environment, we take the necessary steps to protect patients, employees and others who visit our campus.”

Hilton Head Hospital offers smoking cessation classes, to register for or for more information about our program, call 1-877-582-2737.
