Hastings Named CNO at Hitlon Head Regional

Hilton Head Island, SC - Hilton Head Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Elaine Hastings, R.N., MSN as its new Chief Nursing Officer.

“With more than 30 years experience in nursing and operations, Elaine understands the daily demands and challenges of patient care. I am confident that Elaine will do an excellent job,” said Elizabeth Lamkin, president and CEO.

Hastings moved to Hilton Head Island from Elgin, Illinois she where served as Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Sherman Health Systems, a 363 bed hospital and 120 bed sub-acute facility. She held this position from 2000 to 2005.

She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Elmhurst College and a master’s degree in nursing from DePaul University.
