The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission (CARF) announced that Hilton Head Medical Center’s Physical Rehabilitation Clinic has been accredited for a period of three years for its Medical Rehabilitation Programs, Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs (Adults), and Pediatric Family-Centered Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs. The latest accreditation is the second consecutive Three-Year Accreditation outcome that the international accrediting commission has awarded to Hilton Head Medical Center’s Physical Rehabilitation Clinic. This accreditation outcome represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization by CARF and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the standards established by CARF. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation outcome has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during on an on-site visit that its programs and services are of high quality, measurable, and accountable.
Hilton Head Medical Center’s Physical Rehabilitation Clinic offers Aquatic Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Industrial Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Speech & Language Therapy, and Sports Medicine.
