Meet Our Senior Team
We’ve assembled a strong and talented administrative team, all of whom are leaders in their respective fields, to lead Hilton Head Regional Medical Center. The members of this team combine broad industry experience and expertise with fresh external perspective and innovative ideas. Together, they are helping make our vision of a hospital and healthcare with an unrelenting commitment to quality a reality.
Elizabeth Lamkin, President and Chief Executive Officer
Since being named president and CEO in May 2005, Lamkin has worked to make quality Hilton Head Regional’s main strategy for attaining long-term success. Her background and hands-on leadership have helped our hospital make significant strides in patient care, advanced medical technology and quality. As an active member of the community, Elizabeth is on the board of directors for the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Beaufort County. Also, she is vice-chairman for the 2007 Heart Walk and champion for the Go Red for Women campaign benefiting the American Heart Association.

Elaine Hastings, R.N., Chief Nursing Officer
A veteran nurse administrator with more than 30 years of experience, Hastings understands the daily demands and challenges of patient care. She joined Hilton Head Regional in May and is working to positively impact patient care. Hastings moved to Hilton Head Island from Elgin, Il., where she was vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer for Sherman Health Systems

Todd Lockcuff, Chief Financial Officer
A two-time recipient of Tenet Healthcare’s Circle of Excellence Outstanding CFO award, Lockcuff has a strong background in managing hospital financials. He has held numerous financial operations positions at hospitals in North Carolina and South Carolina. Prior to joining Hilton Head Regional, Lockcuff was controller for Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

Darlene Nester, Chief Human Resources Officer
Having a strong team of employees is significant to patient care. Nester heads our human resources department, making sure we have well-qualified and competent employees to deliver quality care to our patients. She has been in our human resources office for more than six years, bringing a wealth of skills to her position.
Lori Ross, R.N., Vice President, Clinical Quality Improvement
With experience in both nursing and management, Ross has helped our hospital set standards for providing quality care. She joined Hilton Head Regional in March 2003 and oversees care management, infection control, quality improvement and patient safety.
